The caretakers are focusing on basic needs...no attention to the human need for comfort and warmth......or ...even a smile

My mother who is 88 and has APHSIA stays there since October 2014
Place is clean and staff is nice.
Only problem is at night - staff of caretakers have round 3 times at night but even though they have cameras there is no voice to hear if someone in distress.

Why not to use camera and sound for my mother who has APHASIA unable to talk and under distress can not call for help???

How do you make sure that your assisted living patient who is helpless and unable to talk because of APHSIA, is safe at night? In case of distress how will Aphasic patient can call for help?
