Naaman was founded in 1939 as a Zionist factory for the production of bricks for the construction of the Jewish settlement in Israel. The company was founded by members of Kibbutz Kfar Mesarik, and after a few years it developed and became 'Naaman Porcelain' - the only factory for the production of dining sets and useful porcelain utensils. Today, 8 decades later, Naaman is the largest company in Israel in the field of importing housewares, kitchenware and gifts.


Throughout its years, Naaman makes sure to innovate, invent, create and lead the field of housewares and kitchenware in Israel as the tone-setter and author of the trends. It did this in the past, when it was the first to keep up to date with all the

innovations that came from abroad, being the spearhead of the market in Israel; and it does so even today, when it develops innovative products and combines the trends that affect the world of cooking and home design with quality standards in Israel.


Naaman's history is intertwined with the history of the country, not only as one of the first enterprises of the Hebrew and kibbutz industry, but as the one who started a local tradition of ceramic making in Israel. The Naaman factory, which produced tools using porcelain castings, laid the foundation stones for the development of industry in Israel. With the establishment of the state and throughout its first decades, Naaman even created the official tools of the President's House with the logo of the State of Israel stamped on them.


Even today, Naaman products are designed by the company's design and development department, here in Israel. Alongside these, Naaman imports to Israel brands from leading companies in the world, and markets them in over 70 branches spread all over the country.
