Matricelf - Tel Aviv

Matricelf is an innovative biotechnology company that specializes in 3D printing of tissues and organs, reducing the risk of implant rejection. Their unique decellularization process separates stromal cells and ECM from a small omental biopsy sample. This process produces a thermo-responsive hydrogel from the ECM. The stromal cells are then reprogrammed into iPSCs and integrated into the hydrogel before being differentiated into the desired functional tissue. Matricelf is also dedicated to creating spinal cord implants for those suffering from traumatic spinal cord injuries. These implants are designed to help restore motor function and enable patients to regain their independence and reintegrate into their communities.
