TarriTech is an innovative science-based start-up company that specializes in providing a unique essential oil delivery system for preventing spoilage of fresh produce. Before being stored or shipped, the fresh produce is exposed to a controlled combination of essential oils, each chosen for its specific anti-decay properties. This specialized delivery system, tailored to specific crops, integrates seamlessly into existing packing house processes. TarriTech has already commercialized this solution for tangerines, and it has been tested on a pilot scale for strawberries, peaches, nectarines, and persimmons. Established in 2018, TarriTech is headquartered in Qiryat Shmona, Israel.
